Aileen Schloerb PhD LCSW has worked with the Schools Initiative of CPI since 2008 serving at various times as director of the Englewood Project, clinician, and clinical consultant to this project mandated to work with children, families, and communities exposed to structural violence in urban neighborhoods. She also serves as a clinician and supervisor for work done in CPI’s Treatment Center with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Having previously worked abroad with humanitarian and human rights organizations serving international populations, she is interested in the applications and renewal of psychoanalysis to meet the current challenges facing the human condition. She is member of the Ecole Freudienne du Quebec (EFQ), the Group Interdisciplinaire Freudien de Recherche et Intervention Clinique (GIFRIC), and the Society for Psychoanalytic and Interdisciplinary Intervention and Research After Lacan (SPIIRAL).
