I work with children and adults of all ages who would like to speak about their struggles, dreams and anxieties and what is making them feel stuck or overwhelmed. My approach, informed by Lacanian psychoanalysis, is based on the unique ways individuals and families have of speaking—or not being able to speak—about troubles across generations. This can involve creative play, the discussion of dreams/daydreams & slips of the tongue, each aiming towards the creation of a different possible relationship to those repeated patterns that can bring individuals and families so much anguish. We can listen together for what points to new ways forward in your life and your future.
I offer sessions in-person or online via Google Meet at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, Monday through Thursday after school hours. I am currently accepting new patients.
