My concentration is in the area of grief and loss. I work with children, adolescents and adults to guide them through the complexities of grief and loss. I support patients with their grief as they navigate the complex feelings associated with the loss in a safe and supportive space. My goal is to help my clients adjust to life without their loved one or the loss they have endured in their life. I utilize grief interventions to encourage patients to move towards re-engagement into life while maintaining a lasting connection with their missing loved one or absence from their loss. My goal is to help others find meaning, healing and resilience. Included in my practice is coping with loss and grief in parents, spouses, children and adolescents; grief and loss in the context of relationships (e.g., romantic relationships, friendships, family relationships); and grief and loss in the context of major life transitions (e.g., divorce, job loss, retirement, pet loss, business and personal losses).
